2022 Rally for Reagan Update.
RDTMF Friends and Supporters,
A run can change your day, The Rally for Reagan Run will change lives.
On February 9, 2017, Reagan Delaney Tokes, a senior at The Ohio State University, who was just 33 days shy of turning twenty-two, and 3 months shy of graduating with a degree in psychology, tragically lost her life at the hands of Evil. Rather than allow this tragic loss of life to become her legacy, the Reagan Delaney Tokes Memorial Foundation, rdtmf.org, was created to allow the radiance of Reagan’s spirit to still shine in this world and bless others. Rally For Reagan Events are held to raise proceeds, so the kind, generous, giving nature of Reagan would still positively impact the lives of others and Good would overcome Evil.
Please plan to participate in the Inaugural Rally for Reagan 5k Run/Walk on September 18th @ 9 am @ Scioto Grove Metro Park. Race route to finish at Reagan’s Garden, where participants can enjoy time for reflection and meditation, in the tranquility this space has to offer. All proceeds to benefit Reagan’s Foundation, which to date has provided over $300,000 in scholarship support to well deserving students and hosted safety/self-defense classes. Due to the pandemic, we were unable to set dates for any Rally events for 2021. Due to some recent, incredibly generous donations to the Reagan Delaney Tokes Memorial Foundation, from several people who hold special places in the hearts of the Tokes family, we are honored to say, we will still be able to support students at Anthony Wayne High School, Perrysburg High School and Maumee United Methodist Church, by awarding scholarships in Reagan’s memory and honor in 2021. In addition, we will be able to make another contribution to the fund at The Ohio State University which awards scholarships annually also. This is truly a blessing and we are so very thankful the legacy we started can continue, even in difficult times.
Although the second half of the Reagan Tokes ACT has not made it to the Senate or House floor in the State of Ohio to be voted into law alongside the first phase, we continue our forward action on this as well and hope that this year might be the year it comes to fruition. We thank you all for the continued kindness, uplifting and prayers that are a constant in our direction. We feel this, along with the spirit of Reagan, she is always with us, guiding us with her love and light. Love Never Ends 1 Corinthians 13:8
